<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cast of “Love &; Hip Hop: Atlanta” is getting a facelift and there may be some faces that Atliens and hip hop fans are already familiar with. Omeretta, Renni Rucci and Yung Baby Tate have been named as new cast members for the Atlanta version of the popular franchise.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The announcement was dropped Monday and people on social media had mixed reactions to the cast announcement including its newest additions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">VH1 is set to drop season 10 of LHHATL on July 5th.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Season 10 brings music back to the forefront, with a female-led ensemble navigating their careers, families, mental health and Black liberation amid a national reckoning and pandemic,” according to <a href="https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/disney-plus-behind-the-attraction-premiere-july-1234990242/">Variety.</a></span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Yandy Smith-Harris and her husband Mendeecees Harris will also be among the cast’s newer faces but we all know Yandy and Mendeecees aren’t new to the franchise, so they’re more like a transfer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In addition to the new cast members, a few of the show’s OGs are returning to the show including Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, Yung Joc, Scrappy, Momma Dee, Spice, Sierra Gates, Bambi, Karlie Redd, Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/omeretta-and-akbar-v-drop-freestyles-to-lil-babys-song-on-me-video/">Omeretta</a>, Renni and Yung Baby Tate have all been doing their thang musically and are definitely artists on the rise in their own right.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is why fans are divided on if their participation in the show is a good thing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While some argue this will give the talented emcees the exposure that they need, others feel reality TV is beneath these young ladies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I don’t think Omeretta should do it. Her career could (be) tainted by this show. Or at least her image, That show has so much nonsense n bs,” one Roommate wrote.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Yung Baby Tate is so much better than love &; hip hop but it’s ok everybody getting old now so I understand they need fresh faces,” another wrote.</span></p>
