<p>Roommates, are you excited for the Academy Awards aka: The Oscars? If anything, are you hyped that Chris Rock is hosting? Anyways, 2015 was the Year of the Battle of the Box Offices which, understandably, has yielded some very interesting ballots for this year&#8217;s awards ceremony. Leonardo DiCaprio is nominated for best actor in a leading role so maybe he&#8217;ll finally get his long-deserved Oscar for The Revenant, which drew in 12 nominations total! Straight Outta Compton was nominated for best original screenplay, which is amazing since heir story needed to be told for this generation. Maybe they&#8217;ll pull a Three 6 Mafia and perform at the show, but I guess we&#8217;ll have to see! Unfortunately for Meek Mill, his song in Creed did not make it for nominations but The Weeknd might just take it for Best Original Song! The ceremony is set to air on February 28th.
