Pastor Troy made noise earlier this week in what many called a homophobic rant toward Lil Nas X following his major Grammy win.
While Lil Nas X didn’t seem too bothered by Pastor Troy’s comments, Troy recently went on Morning Hustle Show to further explain what he meant by his social media rant.
While his opinions about music and homosexuality seem unwaivering, Pastor Troy claimed that he’s not homophobic and has taken pictures with gay fans.
He did, however, make some surprising comments in a bit of an intense exchange with the hosts of the show when asked if his son were to come out to him, to which he replied, “I command my son to grow up to be a man,” Pastor Troy said. “My son gon’ be a heterosexual Black man.”
The hosts explain to Troy that his son’s sexuality is something he can’t control, but Pastor Troy seemed firm in his beliefs. You can watch the clip below:
