Recently it was announced that Mariah Carey would be returning to the divas stage for a special VH1 Divas holiday concert.
Now another diva has been announced for the lineup.
On Monday VH1 revealed that legendary singer Patti LaBelle will join Mariah on stage as she brings the holiday cheer to fans throughout the world.
Like Mariah this will not be Patti LaBelles first time hitting the divas stage. She first appeared on VH1s Divas back in 2004 when she headlined the concert in Las Vegas for VH1s Save The Music Foundation.
LaBelle said in a statement, I’m so excited to share the VH1 DIVAS stage with Mariah, who is not only a phenomenal singer and performer, but also my goddaughter. This is going to be really, really special.
Back in 1990 she released her own version of the classic Christmas hit, This Christmas and Miss Pattis Christmas in 2007.
VH1 Divas: Unsilent Night will take place at the Kings Theatre in New York City on December 2nd and will air on VH1 on December 5th.
