Nichols was sure to go all out for her son and threw a &#8220;Winter ONEderland&#8221; extravaganza.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://people.com/parents/maralee-nichols-tristan-thompson-first-birthday-party-son-theo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>, Nichols shared photos of the blue and silver-themed birthday bash via her Instagram Story.</p>
<p>&#8220;Theo&#8217;s Winter ONEderland,&#8221; she wrote in the captions of the photos.</p>
<p>Baby Theo was gifted with a gray and white balance bike and a child-sized Lamborghini, as reported by <a href="https://people.com/parents/maralee-nichols-tristan-thompson-first-birthday-party-son-theo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>. And the celebration featured a two-tiered birthday cake, adorned with teddy bears.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Nichols Wished Her Son A Happy Birthday On Instagram</h3>
<p>On December 1, Nichols took to Instagram to share a special birthday post to the 1-year-old. In the post, she says he is her &#8220;greatest blessing&#8221; and &#8220;heart in human form.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Thompson Not Seen In Any Photos</h3>
<p>Thompson was not spotted in any photos that surfaced of the 1-year-old&#8217;s birthday celebration. According to <a href="https://people.com/parents/maralee-nichols-tristan-thompson-first-birthday-party-son-theo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>, he also hasn&#8217;t publicly commented on the child, aside from confirming paternity results in January.</p>
<blockquote><p>I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I&#8217;ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.</p></blockquote>
<p>A source recently told to <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/maralee-nichols-tristan-thompsons-son-celebrates-1st-birthday/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">US Weekly</a> that Thompson is &#8220;very absent from Theo’s life.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>He hasn’t met Theo nor has he initiated any meetings. He doesn’t have any immediate plans to meet his son face-to-face.</p></blockquote>
<p>Thompson also fathers a 4-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter with <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=Khloe+Kardashian&;post_type=post" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Khloe Kardashian</a>. As well as a 5-year-old son with <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tyga-and-tristan-thompsons-sons-mother-jordan-craig-used-to-be-hitched/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jordan Craig</a>.</p>
