<p>On Monday, Polo G&#8217;s mother, Stacia Mac, took to her Instagram Story to share that Polo G and his 18-year-old brother, Tbaby, had been released from police custody. Before this, Mac revealed that Polo G&#8217;s sister, Leilani, had also been released from custody.</p>

<p>According to the <a href="https://app5.lasd.org/iic/Details" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Los Angeles Sheriff&#8217;s Department</a>, Polo G, whose real name is Taurus Bartlett, was booked Wednesday by LAPD under booking number, 6664621. A second booking number, 6655529, adds that he was later arrested by Burbank Police.</p>
<p>Booking number 6655529 reports that the rapper was given a $100,000 total bail amount. Additionally, it reports that the rapper was released on bond Thursday. Booking number 6664621 adds that the rapper&#8217;s next court date is September 12, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. Furthermore, both booking numbers state that Polo G has been charged with a felony.</p>
<p>Polo G&#8217;s brother, Taurean Bartlett, was initially booked under booking number, 6664618. It adds that he was booked by the LAPD. A second booking number, 6655531, adds that he was later arrested by Burbank Police.</p>
<p>Additionally, booking number 6655531 reports that Bartlett was given a $100,000 total bail amount. Furthermore, it adds that he was released on that bond on Thursday. Booking number 6664618 adds that Bartlett&#8217;s next court date has been scheduled for September 13, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. Furthermore, both booking numbers state that Bartlett has been charged with a felony.</p>
<p>Furthermore, <em>The Shade Room&#8217;s</em> Senior Editor, Jadriena Solomon, has reached out to the Los Angeles Sheriff&#8217;s Department via phone and confirmed with a representative that both men are facing a felony charge of robbery.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/24/polo-g-arrested-kidnapping-robbery-assault-charges-trench-baby/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a> has since reported that Polo G and Taurean had &#8220;outstanding warrants&#8221; with Burbank PD. The warrants were reported &#8220;for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, and robbery.&#8221; According to the outlet, the separate booking numbers were derived from both men initially being booked by LAPD. Then booked by Burbank PD.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Polo G&#8217;s Lawyer Releases A Statement Regarding His Arrest</h3>
<p>On Wednesday, Bradford Cohen, the rapper&#8217;s attorney, shared an exclusive statement with <a href="https://www.xxlmag.com/polo-g-lawyer-statement-gun-police-raid/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">XXL</a>. In his statement, the lawyer explained that the raid on Polo G&#8217;s home concerned &#8220;someone staying in Polo&#8217;s home and not Polo directly.&#8221;</p>
<p>Additionally, Cohen provided more insight into the reason for the Los Angeles Police Department&#8217;s raid and subsequent detainment of Polo G.</p>

The officers have detained Polo to &#8216;verify&#8217; that he is not a convicted felon, as they assert a firearm was found in the home. <p>Cohen reflected on a 2021 incident when Polo G was arrested in Miami. According to <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/12/entertainment/polo-g-arrested-miami/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a>, the rapper was charged with &#8220;battery on a police officer, threatening a public servant, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence, and criminal mischief.&#8221;</p>
<p>Pivoting back to the current incident, Cohen alleged that the LAPD refused access to his client and asserted that &#8220;someone will have to answer for these new wrongful actions.&#8221;</p>

<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/polo-g-others-detained-los-angeles-mansion-raided-law-enforcement/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the Los Angeles Police Department &#8220;swarmed&#8221; the rapper&#8217;s home on Wednesday. As footage surfaced of the incident, video showed Polo G and two others being apprehended by authorities.</p>
<p>Initially, it was alleged that the raid was conducted &#8220;in relation to a robbery.&#8221;</p>
