<p>Chicago-bred rapper Polo G has reportedly been detained by law enforcement. According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/23/polo-g-house-raid-handcuffs-detain-cops/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a>, the 24-year-old&#8217;s Los Angeles mansion was raided by police Wednesday.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/23/polo-g-house-raid-handcuffs-detain-cops/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a>, the rapper&#8217;s Los Angeles mansion was &#8220;swarmed&#8221; by authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday. In the video taken from the scene, Polo G can be seen walking down the steps of his front lawn as he approaches police with his hands up.</p>
<p>The 24-year-old is then seen being apprehended by authorities.</p>
<p>In the footage, two additional individuals are seen already handcuffed by police, standing near the authorities&#8217; vehicle.</p>

Additionally, the outlet reports that the search warrant was executed &#8220;in relation to a robbery.&#8221;</p>
<p>Furthermore, a total of four suspects have been taken into police custody.</p>

<p>According to the outlet, a representative for Polo G has shared that the rapper has been detained &#8220;as part of an active investigation.&#8221; However, the representative adds that the rapper is not &#8220;the focus of said investigation.&#8221;</p>

However, according to a representative, no record of Polo G&#8217;s booking with the LAPD has been recorded at this time.</p>

<p>The 24-year-old&#8217;s arrest arrives just days after he publicly shared his thoughts about retiring from music. On Friday, the rapper took to Twitter to share that he&#8217;s &#8220;considering&#8221; the decision after his next album.</p>
