<p>Now that <strong>Post Malone</strong> has been a father for over a year, he&#8217;s reflecting on the experience of being a parent — noting that it&#8217;s resulted in him being the &#8220;happiest [he&#8217;s] ever been.&#8221;</p>

<p>During an appearance on the <em><a href="https://open.spotify.com/show/7bnjJ7Va1nM07Um4Od55dW" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Call Her Daddy</a> </em>podcast that aired on Wednesday (Aug. 2), Post Malone told host <strong>Alex Cooper </strong>how he&#8217;s enjoying fatherhood.</p>
<p>He and his partner welcomed their daughter in May 2022. Post Malone eventually announced her arrival during an appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FOgbp4uHsE" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>The Howard Stern Show</em></a>.</p>
<p>During his sit-down with Cooper, the rapper was asked what he&#8217;s afraid of, and he said a &#8220;new fear&#8221; he&#8217;s recently acquired is &#8220;not being able to be there for [his] baby.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added, <strong><em>&#8220;That&#8217;s why I tried to slow down on drinking — to take better care of my body.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>While on the subject of being a first-time father, Post Malone later noted that he is currently the <strong><em>&#8220;happiest [he&#8217;s] ever been.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>He also joked that he&#8217;s pretty sure his daughter&#8217;s first words will be his &#8220;credit card number.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Post Malone Declares He&#8217;ll Be A &#8220;Hot Dad&#8221;</h3>
<p>While speaking on Post Malone embracing fatherhood, we should add that he previously acknowledged being &#8220;pumped&#8221; for the experience.</p>
<p>During an appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quHmTyJrit8" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>The Zane Lowe Show</em></a>, he recalled gearing up for parenthood since he was younger. In fact, the artist mentioned having a &#8220;baby doll&#8221; he would &#8220;carry around everywhere.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;As a kid, I was like 4 or 5, and I had this little baby I would carry around everywhere. It was a baby doll. And I thought that was the coolest thing. I would take him around everywhere. And I don&#8217;t know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>After noting that he was &#8220;pumped up&#8221; for fatherhood, he humorously added, <strong><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m gonna be a hot dad.&#8221; </em></strong></p>
<p>As he&#8217;s &#8220;slow[ing] down&#8221; on drinking and focusing on his health more, it sounds like Post Malone may be committed to this &#8220;hot dad&#8221; goal!</p>
