<p>Social media users are sending prayers of love and support to singer <strong>Jazmine Sullivan,</strong> who just revealed the passing of her grandmother.</p>

<p>On Friday, December 29, the 36-year-old singer took to her<a href="https://www.instagram.com/jazminesullivan/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> official Instagram account</a> to share a series of posts on her Story. In the first post, the singer shared a photo that seemed to be from her childhood.</p>
<p>The following picture showed a young Sullivan standing next to two women, who seemingly appeared to be her mother, Pamela, and grandmother.</p>
<p>In the following post, Sullivan revealed that her &#8220;grandmom&#8221; had passed away. Additionally, the singer expanded on her grandmother and mother&#8217;s impact on her life.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Rest now grandmom. I know mommy is so happy to see you!&#8221; the singer wrote. &#8220;These women are the very reason I sing and write. The reason I&#8217;m funny and sassy. The reason I say what I mean according to my conviction. The reason I love God! And the reason I&#8217;m strong even when I don&#8217;t think I am&#8230;&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>As her message continued, Sullivan explained that God&#8217;s plans were above her own. Additionally, she shared that she is &#8220;blessed&#8221; to have been &#8220;molded and loved fiercely&#8221; by her mother and grandmother.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Singer&#8217;s Mother Passed Away In July</h3>
<p>In July, Sullivan took to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CvE6uy-uqt5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> to share a childhood photo of her mother and reveal that she had passed away.</p>

<p>At the time, Sullivan did not reveal the cause of her mother&#8217;s death. However, outlets such as <a href="https://people.com/jazmine-sullivans-mom-dead-age-64-7565366#:~:text=The%20two%2Dtime%20Grammy%20Award,you%20thank%20you%20thank%20you." target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a> noted that Pamela Sullivan was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in 2019.</p>
