Princess Love and Ray’s marriage has been on the rocks since last November 2019, after she alleged he left her and their kids in Las Vegas during the Soul Train Awards. With both filing for divorce, a dismissal, and another filing, it seems they’re still having issues.
In a recent interview with Fox Soul, it doesn’t look like she’s interested in working out their marriage- at least, not “right now.”
When asked if she still loved Ray J, she stated, “I’ll always love him. I’ll always love him.”
As far as if she wants to get back with him, she stated,
“Ummm, I feel like right now we just…I don’t know. We, we just need to just really figure out…No, I don’t. Not right now I don’t.”
On Tuesday, Ray J spoke with the ladies of The Real and expressed his sentiments about wanting his family.
“I mean, I just I wanna be with my family. Jeannie Mae then asked, “Do you wanna be married? The kids, yes. But you have to have a happily family from a happy, stable, loyal marriage. Do you want a happy, stable, loyal marriage?” Ray J replied, “Yes!” Jeannie Mae added, “That’s the happy family, loyal part.”
As you may recall, the two were thought to be working it out until May of 2020, and that’s when she first filed for divorce, after four years of marriage. According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Princess Love requested full legal and physical custody of their babies, 2-year-old Melody and 4-month-old Epik. But she later had the divorce dismissed, in July.
Fast forward, Ray J blindsided Princess and filed for a divorce in September. She found out on social media, a source exclusively told us. Princess thought they were working on their marriage “for the kids.” But she was reportedly ready to get a divorce since she first filing back in May.
No matter the outcome, hopefully they can remain amicable and find healing.
