<p>Roommates, R. Kelly hasn&#8217;t been having the greatest time in jail, and it is now being reported that he was allegedly attacked in his prison cell recently!</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2020/08/27/r-kelly-allegedly-attacked-bed-inmate-inside-chicago-prison/">TMZ</a>, federal law enforcement sources allege that Kellz was attacked by another inmate while he was sitting in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.</p>
<p>Kelly was reportedly sitting on his bed when another inmate allegedly walked into his jail cell and started to punch him. It is unclear who broke up the fight, but it allegedly didn&#8217;t last long.</p>
<p>Sources reveal to TMZ that the inmate was frustrated about the jail being placed on lock down multiple times due to protestors outside of the jail! Videos have recently surfaced of large <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/r-kelly-supporters-marched-in-the-streets-of-chicago-to-demand-his-freedom/">crowds gathering in protes</a>t of R. Kelly&#8217;s incarceration.</p>
<p>Kelly was reportedly examined by a doctor in the jail, who determined that he did not have any serious injuries following the attack.</p>
<p>A spokesperson for the Federal Bureau Of Prisons says it is unable to comment on an inmate&#8217;s conditions or medical status due to privacy and safety reasons.</p>
<p>As we previously reported, Kelly has tried to get a judge to release him from the facility on multiple occasions, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Clearly, all of his efforts have failed since he&#8217;s still behind bars!</p>
<p>He was also the topic of conversation when his associates were arrested to attempting to bribe and threaten some of the woman who have accused him of sexual abuse.</p>
