<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to reports, R. Kelly’s associate pleaded guilty Tuesday to bribery charges.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Richard Arline Jr. admitted that he offered ‘Jane Doe’ hundreds of thousands of dollars not to testify, Yahoo reports.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the virtual court hearing in Brooklyn federal court, Arline stated, “Me and another person offered Jane Doe money for her to not go forward with her complaint or testimony against Robert Kelly.” He also added, “I knew what I did was wrong,” Page Six reports.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Airline faces up to 15 years in prison.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As previously reported, Donnell Russell and Michael Williams were also charged alongside Richard Arline, Jr.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Russell and Arline are friends of R.Kelly and Williams is related to the singer’s former publicist, according to prosecutors.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As you may know, R.Kelly was arrested in July of 2019 and is currently still jailed. He faces sexual abuse charges of minors both in Chicago and in Brooklyn.</span></p>
