<p>Roommates as we previously reported, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/rae-sremmurds-stepfather-fatally-shot-their-brother-is-reportedly-in-custody-as-a-person-of-interest/">Rae Sremmurd</a>’s stepfather was tragically killed earlier this week and their brother was initially thought of as a person of interest in the crime—now he has officially been arrested.</p>
<p>@TMZ_TV reports that, Michael Sullivan, 19, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2020/01/07/rae-sremmurd-swae-lee-slim-jxmmi-stepdad-murdered-killed-brother-custody/">was arrested</a> for his stepfather’s murder shortly after being released from a local hospital. He is currently still in police custody. Rae Sremmurd’s stepfather, 62-year-old Floyd Sullivan, helped raised them since they were children and sadly lost his life after a shooting in Mississippi, allegedly by their brother Michael.</p>
<p>Tupelo, Mississippi police says officers were dispatched to the home on January 6<sup>th</sup> where they found Floyd dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. According to law enforcement sources, Michael was being held for psychiatric evaluation at a local facility before he was ultimately arrested for the murder.</p>
<p>Police also say that there are currently no other suspects in the case. Swae Lee (one half of Rae Sremmurd) recently broke his silence on the tragedy, tweeting:</p>
<p><em>“I’ve been tested my whole life. I pray this world let’s me keep some compassion.”</em></p>
<p>Those tweets were followed by several heartbreak emojis.</p>

<p>Floyd raised Rae Sremmurd (Swae Lee and Slim&#8217;s Jxmmi) ever since the boys were in middle school, and moved to Mississippi with their mother, Bernadette<strong>. </strong>Floyd also has a son, Floyd Jr., from a previous relationship.</p>
