Last month, Karlie Redd alleged that during a hotel stay, an Atlanta rapper named Pharaoh tried to rape her and that he allegedly took pictures of her whilst she was sleeping.
Pharaoh’s story is that while they were in their room, Karlie got drunk and spazzed out on him when he tried to leave the room. She then allegedly locked herself in the bathroom and tried to flush both his cell phones down the toilet.
Regardless of the conflicting stories, that experience was enough for Pharaoh to file a restraining order against the #LHHATL star. Karlie was ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from Pharaoh, but as if that wasn’t enough, the rapper has filed a $1 million lawsuit against Karlie for defamation of character.
According to TMZ, he claims that her lies have cost him jobs and he’s had to use up so much money on a crisis PR.
Pharaoh is actually suing for just over a million bucks and is also demanding that Karlie retract her statements and apologize. The rapper insists that the allegations are totally false and that the Love and Hip Hop cast member only said those things because she was mad when he decided to break things off with her first.
Karlie hasn’t made a comment yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
