<p>Earlier this month, <strong><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/brandy-responds-to-ray-js-one-wish-performance-video/">Ray J</a></strong> shared that he had gotten a tattoo of his sister and best friend Brandy placed on his leg. After the big reveal of the tattoo, he received some mixed reviews as the artwork featured a special twist.</p>
<p><em><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2022/07/15/ray-j-responds-haters-leg-tattoo-of-his-sister-brandy/">TMZ</a></em> caught up with Ray J and asked him about those who criticized him for the tattoo, and he said,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s my leg, it&#8217;s my sister. She was a little uneasy about it, but if you check out Mashkow&#8217;s page, he&#8217;s one of the dopest tattoo [artists] and it&#8217;s hard to get him to tatt you, it&#8217;s like booked for two years.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The tattoo shows Brandy with graffiti words over her face, and red eyes, but Ray J explained that it&#8217;s just the style of Mashkow&#8217;s work.</p>
<p>&#8220;But I love my sister, that was just a symbol of me saying thank you for putting me in. If it wasn&#8217;t for her, I wouldn&#8217;t be here. I&#8217;m humbled just to have her just help me,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I love my sister, she didn&#8217;t like the tattoo either,&#8221; he added before walking off.</p>

<p>As previously shared, one of the most distinctive things about the tattoo is that Brandy has the words &#8220;Best Friend&#8221; across her forehead.</p>

<p>Not only has Ray J said that his sister is his best friend numerous times, but that is also the title of one of Brandy&#8217;s hit records from her 1994 self-titled album.</p>
<p>Back in 2019, Ray J performed the song for his sister as she was honored at the BMI R&;B and Hip-Hop Awards.</p>
