<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">OHKAY Growth! <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/reginae-carter-and-toya-johnson-are-looking-like-sisters-in-instagram-post/">Reginae Carter</a> is making the right decisions as she continues to level up in the industry. She&#8217;s one of the co-hosts on AllBLK&#8217;s show &#8216;Social Society&#8217; and has been focused on her new clothing line. In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, sitting next to some of the show&#8217;s other co-hosts, Kendra G and Kendall Kyndall, the reality star opened up about her decision to not clap back at negative comments online.</p>
<p>Charlamagne Tha God asked Reginae, &#8220;You used to clap back a lot at people who used to come at your pops, come at your mom. Why did you slow down on that?&#8221; The 23-year-old responded that her age had a lot to do with it and that she didn&#8217;t want it to interfere with furthering her acting career. &#8220;I wanted to do stuff in life. You don&#8217;t know who&#8217;s in that room. You don&#8217;t know who you&#8217;re going to clap back to that you might need one day. I want to act. It&#8217;s so many directors. It&#8217;s so many people that might hear that I clapped back at this person and might say, &#8216;Oh, she&#8217;s hard to work with.'&#8221;</p>

<p>Reginae also explained that she had to get her act together and is constantly working on herself. Everyone is familiar that she is Lil Wayne&#8217;s oldest child, and she touched on her upbringing. She told Charlamagne that she never heard the word &#8220;no&#8221; until she got older. &#8220;I had to humble myself,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>Charlamagne was shocked to learn about Reginae&#8217;s childhood, but she commended her mom for raising her right, setting boundaries, and making her work for things. Toya Johnson, Reginae&#8217;s mom, stepped into The Shade Room, showing her daughter love. &#8220;That&#8217;s my girl! #Iloveyourgrowth #proudmama.&#8221; The Roommates also loved seeing the mature side of Reginae. One commented, &#8220;It&#8217;s wasted energy for anyone to go back &; forth on social media with keyboard bullies. Good for her! She has more important things to do.&#8221; Roommates, do you think more celebrities should follow Reginae and stop responding to negative comments?</p>
