Remy Ma’s Assault Case Has Been Dropped

TSR Updatez: A judge has dropped all charges against Remy Ma in her alleged assault case involving her former “Love and Hip Hop” cast mate Brittney Taylor.

Remy pulled up to a New York City courthouse this morning with her legal team and prosecutors on the case explained that they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she had committed a crime, according to TMZ.

Just a quick reminder of what happened, Brittney Taylor hopped on social media back in April and posted a picture of her with a black eye, claiming that Remy Ma was the one who gave it to her at a concert.

Now prosecutors are saying that there is no surveillance video of the alleged punch and there are no witnesses who actually saw this alleged altercation between them happen. Because of that, the judge dismissed the case entirely.

Now, Remy Ma never switched up her story. She always maintained her innocence in the case, even after being hit with four additional assault charges.

Remy Ma turned herself into authorities in early May in good faith and cooperated with the investigation. She declined taking a deal because she said she was innocent and now, this assault case is one less thing Remy has to worry about.
