Rihanna Is Allegedly Suing Her Father For Using The “Fenty” Name To Reportedly Profit Off Of The Brand’s Trademark In Separate Business Venture

I know what y’all are thinking…”bUt HeR fAtHeR gAvE hEr ThAt NaMe; ThAtS hIs NaMe ToO” No, cut it out. As we all know, #Rihanna uses her surname, #Fenty, as the brand name for her businesses, such as her beauty and lingerie lines. With that being said, the “Fenty” brand name is trademarked by Rih for those exact reasons.

TMZ is reporting that Rih is allegedly suing her father, Ronald Fenty because she claims “he recently started a talent development company in 2017 called Fenty Entertainment,” and is basically trying to profit off of the brand’s name.

The site references documents that reportedly state that Rih says her dad and a business partner “falsely advertised themselves as her reps to solicit millions of dollars, including trying to book her for 15 shows in Latin America in December 2017 for $15 mil” without her sign off.

In addition, sis reportedly tried to send him a cease and desist letter more than enough times telling him to stop the shenanigans, but he clearly did not and continued to capitalize off the likeness of her brand.

We’ll keep you posted on how this story unfolds #Roommates!
