Roommates, we already know that when it comes to new trends, celebrities usually start most of them—and Rihanna and KeKe Palmer are ready to give you some new hair inspiration for 2021! Both Rihanna and KeKe have recently posted videos and photos of them rocking a modern version of the classic 80s mullet hairstyle.
We all know by now that Rihanna can do pretty much anything she wants when it comes to her style and she somehow always pulls it off. So, now that Riri has decided to usher in the new year with a 2021 mullet, we wonder just how many of her fans will follow suit.
Meanwhile, fellow celebrity KeKe Palmer has also tried out the mullet 2.0 hairstyle, as the two ladies go head-to-head to make the case for the mullet being the new go-to hairstyle.
You may recall that this isn’t Rihanna’s first time with a mullet, as she also rocked one several eras (and albums) ago. So far, the response has been mixed with Rihanna and KeKe’s new mullet looks, with some fans welcoming the edgy look, while others say that it’s entirely too retro for their taste.
However, as with most things involving celebrities, don’t be surprised if you see the hairstyle popping up everywhere over the next few months. Mullets could be taking over 2021!
