Rihanna is heading back to the big screen! It was just announced that she joined the cast of Luc Besson’s novel adaptation of “Valerian.”
Looks like Rih Rih’s role in BattleShip paid off and she can showcase her acting skills once more. Besson shared that Rihanna will have a “big” role in the movie, although there is no word yet on what part the songstress snagged.
Rih will be joining her supermodel gal pal Cara Delevingne and Dana DeHaan who are also set to star in the movie.
Besson is the man behind blockbusters like “Lucy” and “The Professional.”
The movie is based off of Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres’ graphic novel and unfolds in the 28th century when humanity discovered time travel.
Production is set to start at the end of 2015 with a release in July 2017.
