<p>Rihanna stays winning and we&#8217;re here for it. Just yesterday it was announced that she&#8217;s 2016&#8217;s highest paid black female in music, and now she can add &#8220;shoe of the year&#8221; to her already poppin&#8217; resume.</p>
<p>&#8220;In my wildest dreams, I never would have imagined an honor like Shoe of the Year,&#8221; she told Footwear News. &#8220;It means so much to me to make a mark like this in the shoe industry and to have so many people share my love for the Creeper.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://footwearnews.com/2016/fashion/designers/rihanna-wins-shoe-of-the-year-fenty-puma-creepers-footwear-news-achievement-awards-fnaa-2016-272599/"><strong>According to Footwear News</strong></a>, Rih&#8217;s Creeper was the &#8220;only choice for the 2016 shoe of the year.&#8221; Their criteria for selecting shoe of the year is based on retail sales, consumer feedback, social media prowess and the overall buzz surrounding the shoe.</p>
<p>Apparently this particular award has only been handed out two other times prior to Rih&#8217;s win. Kanye West won the award last year for his Adidas Yeezy Boost 350&#8217;s, and tennis player Stan Smith took home the award the year before with his own shoe with Adidas.</p>
<p>Rihanna will accept the award at the 30th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York on November 29th.</p>
