<p>It was a weekend filled with <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/marcus-jordan-larsa-pippen-wedding-date-location/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wedding bliss</a>! Three celebrity couples, including <strong>Robin Roberts</strong>, <strong>Kimberly Elise</strong>, and <strong>Derrick Rose</strong>, recently tied the knot and announced their life development on social media this past weekend.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a recap of their individual love stories and a matrimony update.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Robin Roberts Marries Amber Laign After 18 Years Together</h3>
<p><em>Good Morning America</em>&#8216;s Robin Roberts <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CxAxJK_OjGD/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced the development</a> in her relationship with<strong> Amber Laign</strong> on Sunday (Sept. 10). The morning show host said they wed in their backyard in a private ceremony. Her post included two photos of them wearing white halter-neck gowns designed by Badgley Mischka.</p>

<p>GMA reports that Roberts&#8217; <a href="https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/good-morning-america-anchor-robin-roberts-marries-longtime-102649620" target="_blank" rel="noopener">childhood pastor</a> officiated their union on Friday (Sept. 8). The outlet also says a garden-themed ceremony complete with a dance floor, custom bar, and tunes by DJ Valentina.</p>

<p>Robin Roberts<a href="https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/03/entertainment/robin-roberts-amber-laign/index.html"> first announced</a> her plans to wed Amber in January. However, the couple have been dating since 2005 &#8212; approximately 18 years.</p>
<p>No word yet on where Robin and Amber plan to honeymoon. But, leading up to the wedding day, Roberts declared that she and her wife already have what most want.</p>

<p>Kimberly Elise is now married after a <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kylie-jenner-kissing-wonka-timothee-chalamet-beyonces-concert-photos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">whirlwind romance</a> she says God designed. Elise tied the knot with <strong>George McCrary </strong>last month on Aug. 19.</p>
<p>Elise&#8217;s pastor introduced them last winter season, and the pair got engaged after &#8220;a beautiful courtship.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;We made a covenant of holy matrimony before our closest friends, family, and most importantly before God. The Lord has blessed us with each other, and we are so excited to bring Him glory in our life together,&#8221; Elise wrote in an Instagram feed caption.</p></blockquote>
<p>Her post also included a video showing the moment George proposed and a shocked, smiling Elise saying yes. It also <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/chanel-iman-davon-godchaux-engaged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">displayed engagement</a> and wedding day photos. Kimberly wore a white lace gown with a v-neck cut and an updo.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Derrick Rose And Alaina Anderson Tie The Knot In Lavish Ceremony</h3>
<p>Derrick Rose and the mother of his children, <strong>Alaina Anderson</strong>, were engulfed in luxury at their <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/derrick-rose-alaina-anderson-are-now-engaged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wedding ceremony</a> this past weekend.</p>
<p>Anderson shared the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/lightskinkeisha-fiance-coca-vango-expecting-first-child-pregnant-photos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first photos</a> of their big day via Instagram on Saturday (Sept. 9). She rocked a shimmery white gown with a veil, while Derrick wore an all-black tux white no shirt under his suit jacket. The post included photos of the pair inside and outside the ceremony space, with their children and wedding party.</p>

<p>Anderson and Rose have reportedly been dating since 2016. They&#8217;ve since welcomed two children, five-year-old Layla Malibu Rose and four-year-old London Marley. Rose is also father to PJ from a <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/co-parenting-goals-derrick-roses-wife-and-mother-of-his-oldest-son-rock-matching-pjs-at-family-gathering/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">previous relationship</a> with Mieka Reese.</p>

Alaina previously said she was under the impression they were attending a Knicks team party.</p>
<p>Rose no longer has an Instagram, but at the time of the engagement, he reportedly posted about knowing they would be together after first seeing Alaina.</p>
