<p>Looks like Robin Thicke can get to see his ex wife one more time in court but this time she&#8217;ll be testifying on behalf of him! Can you say AWKWARD!!</p>
<p>Well if you didn&#8217;t know Robin Thicke has been feuding with Marvin Gaye III since 2013 over songs that he believes Robin stole from his father, Marvin Gaye, such as &#8220;Blurred Lines&#8221; and &#8220;Love After War&#8221; and according to court documents Paula has been listed as a witness in the case.</p>
<p>Robin tried to get the case dismissed but U.S. District Judge John A. Kronstadt denied the motion in October because he felt as though Robin Thicke&#8217;s &#8220;Blurred Lines&#8221; and Marvin Gaye&#8217;s &#8220;Got To Give It Up&#8221; sound the same when it came to phrases, hooks, and melodies, amongst other things.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;">According to TMZ, &#8220;Paula is expected to testify about the 2011 song, &#8216;</span><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;">Love After War</span><strong style="font-family: inherit; font-style: inherit; line-height: inherit;">&#8216;</strong><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: inherit;">&#8230; which Gaye thinks copies Marvin&#8217;s &#8216;After the Dance.&#8217; Paula appeared in the &#8216;Love&#8217; music video, and we&#8217;re told she co-wrote it with Robin.&#8221; The trial is set for February 10 in Los Angeles. </span></p>
<p>Paula Patton and Robin Thicke divorced after nine years of marriage claiming irreconcilable differences but co parent their 4-year-old son Julian together.</p>
<p>I think it&#8217;s nice that Paula would help her ex boo out even if he did cheat on her and is now dating a girl old enough to be his daughter, but I&#8217;m glad she could look past all of that!
