Ciara and Russell Wilson are adding another little one to their team! The married couple announced their pregnancy on their respective social media accounts on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
Their black-and-white video starts with Ciara, 37, giving the camera her back as she gazes out floor-to-ceiling windows. She slowly turns to the side, and her silhouette reveals a baby bump! Her caption partially reflected the lyrics she sings in the video’s background. The singer then effortlessly serves a few poses and dance moves.

“You look at me like that again, we make another kid. You my heart, I’m your rib,” CiCi wrote.
Within an hour of posting the announcement, the post gained over 237,000 likes and more than 11,0000 comments on Ciara’s Instagram account. Over on Russell’s Insta-page, he kept the caption simple–name-dropping the featured song and identifying himself as the cameraman.
The track featured is Ciara and Chris Brown’s newly released single, “How We Roll,” which the artists first teased in April.
Timeline On Russell & Ciara’s Love & Blended Family
Russell and CiCi tied the knot in 2016. At the time, Ciara was already mother to Future, from her previous engagement to rapper Future.
The following year, the newlyweds welcomed their first child and daughter together, Sienna Princess. A few years later, in 2020, they welcomed their second child and first son together, Win.
Their pregnancy announcement follows a recent conversation the expectant mother had with PEOPLE. CiCi gushed about traveling with her husband and their three children before preparing for back-to-school season.
The family reportedly enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas, with Ciara calling it “a sweet and memorable” experience.
“Moments like that are so fun. Just being able to travel and be together as a family, I always value those moments. Even just sitting down and having dinners together as a family. We get to do it more because Russ isn’t in football, so we make a conscious effort to make our family unit moments happen in the summer,” she told PEOPLE. “I think it’s good energy rolling back into back-to-school and the season and new music for me. This summer was jam-packed with music and creative concepts for me, so I’m excited about the stuff I’ve done as well. It’s been adventurous, to say the least, but I’ve enjoyed every bit of it every day.”
In March 2022, Ciara and Russell discussed adding to their family of five (at the time) on live television. While the R&B performer hosted an episode of “The Ellen Degeneres” show, Wilson proposed more babies.
“I have a question for you. Serious question. Can we have more babies,” Russell said as CiCi reportedly laughed. “I mean, it would be perfect. Just give me one more at least.”
Ciara responded, “We definitely can,” but added that they had “a little time before” getting there. A little over a year from then, it’s clear THAT timer has run out.
