Last month, The Game vs. Meek Mill saga got completely out of hand when they decided to drag Nicki Minaj into it! If you recall, we posted a picture of The Game going in on Meek Mill where he alleged that Meek was FaceTiming Nicki while she was still with Safaree!
Safaree then commented, “Honestly I should thank him” under the post. What did that mean?!
Well, in a recent interview with Rap-Up, he confirms that Meek did play a role in his breakup with Nicki. “[Meek] definitely was a big part as to why me and Nicki broke up,” he said.
Does this mean that she could have cheated? Or did Meek add fuel to the fire in the ‘FaceTime’ allegations The Game was referring to? We definitely don’t want to put words in anybody’s mouth!
In his interview with Rap-Up, Safaree also touches on the lawsuit he filed against Nicki last November where he sought his percentage of her album sales. He revealed that he dropped the lawsuit, because at the end of the day, he’s simply a different type of person and would have done things differently.
“At the end of the day, I didn’t even wanna do it. I just know if it was me and the shoe was on the other foot, I’d handle it and just say, ‘Peace out. Here. Do what you gotta do. That’s it.’ But I just dropped it.”
