Late last month Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels welcomed their second child together. Prior to the birth of their new bundle of joy, Erica filed for divorce from Safaree. Now during the current season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” fans get to see what ultimately led to the now-former couple splitting.
During Monday’s show, Erica threw Safaree a celebration at their home, which celebrated his Jamaican heritage. She used that moment to share the news with him that she was pregnant with their second child.
However, it was Safaree’s response on the show, that caused him to trend on social media on Tuesday.
In the clip from the show, Erica could be seen sharing an ultrasound photo with Safaree, and he responded to the news by saying, “You know how I feel about having more kids.” When Erica asked if he was sad or upset, he responded, “I don’t know what I am. I feel like we just started the rhythm with Majey [their daughter] turning one. We’re gonna have to start all over again?”
Fans of the show took to Twitter to share their thoughts about the moment from the show.
One person said, “Erica told Safaree she was pregnant this man completely dismissed her and proceeded to hop on a 4 wheeler and pop wheelies.”

While fans shared their thoughts about the situation, Safaree took to his Instagram for a simple response. He shared a two-second clip from his confessional, where he said, “I’m definitely getting neutered.”
As we previously reported, Erica recently showed off her post-pregnancy body and seemingly took a jab at her estranged husband and said, “Fumbling the bag don’t always mean money. Y’all fumble valuable people too.”
