Pop singer/songwriter Sia, recently sat down with BBC Radio 2 to promote her new album “This is Acting” and Rihanna’s unseen Anti project was discussed.
Sia is responsible for not only her own chart topping hits, but has also written songs for Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Celine Dion to name a few.
She penned Rihanna’s Diamonds back in 2012 and is working on her upcoming release. Sia told BBC “she came over to my house the other night. I’d never really met her before. I just sent her tracks in the past. I met her briefly when she sang Diamonds on SNL. The other night she came over and listened to half of the 25 songs I played her ’cause she’s still looking for songs for her new album.”
Rih is definetly being very particular with this album, so it must be good! Rihanna announced her Anti tour last month, so we’re sure she wants the album to be just right before hitting the road.
Sia also continued saying “she’s very nice. Very poised and polite. She was there clearly to listen to the songs and see if there was anything she was into. It was a business meeting for sure…she took four, but I don’t know if they’ll end up on the Anti. I’m pretty sure I’ll have one on the next album, but not sure I’ll have more than that.”
