<p>The Core Hydration Classic competition went down in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, over the weekend, and Mrs. Biles Owens reigned supreme.</p>
<p>Specifically, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/05/sport/simone-biles-gymnastics-return-spt-intl/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a> reports that Biles won first place in four categories: all-around, balance beam, vault, and floor routine. As for the uneven bars category, she placed third.</p>
<p>Following her stunning performance, she reportedly told CNBC that the win <strong><em>&#8220;felt really good, especially after everything that’s happened over the past year.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>Simone Biles also added that she was &#8220;very happy with the result&#8221; of her training.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Athlete Took A Step Back In 2021 To Prioritize Her Well-Being</h3>
<p>As mentioned, this win marked Simone Biles&#8217; first foray back into gymnastics since stepping back two years ago.</p>
<p>Back in July 2021, Biles memorably pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics, and she later said that she &#8220;definitely had the team in [her] best interest&#8221; when she made the <a href="https://olympics.com/en/news/rounding-off-simone-biles-says-my-body-and-my-mind-just-said-no" target="_blank" rel="noopener">decision</a>.</p>
