<p>On Friday (Oct. 6), she earned her sixth all-around world title, and her accolade brought Biles to a grand total of 34 medals between her Olympic and world championship competitions, per <a href="https://apnews.com/article/gymnastics-world-championships-simone-biles-a3aaf6453d62916b7ccc49b5123ecac7" target="_blank" rel="noopener">AP News</a>. As such, the Texas-raised athlete is now the most decorated gymnast in history.</p>
<p>Additionally, she also became the first woman to secure six all-around world titles, tying with <strong><a href="https://olympics.com/en/news/artistic-gymnastics-world-championships-2023-simone-biles-soars-to-sixth-world-all-around-title-historic-34th-medal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kōhei Uchimura</a></strong> of Japan.</p>
