The 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo are still several months away, but when you are Simone Bilesthe defending Olympic gold medal gymnast and overall the most decorated gymnast in historyyou get an early start on things. In a new video posted on social media, Simone showed just how amazing she is and what we can look forward to this summer.
Simone Biles is the definition of #BlackGirlMagic. She has forever made her mark on the sport of gymnastics by practically breaking every world record and winning more gold medals than anyone ever has. So, its not surprising that she is already preparing to take the 2020 Summer Olympic Games by storm.
Posting to her Twitter account, Simone shared a video of her training with an astonishing vault performance that has to be seen to be believed.
In the short clip, she flips so many times that you might question if the video has been sped upbut, of course thats not the case, its just Simone showing exactly why she is the absolute GOAT. The move she executed in the video is actually called a double pike Yurchenko, which she pulled off flawlessly.
You may recall that last fall, Simone killed it at the World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany, where she became the most decorated gymnast in championship history, winning a record five gold medals in the 2019 events alone. Its safe to say that the 2020 Summer Olympics will also be known as the Simone Biles Showand we cant wait!
