Congratulations are in order for Slutty Vegan founder Pinky Cole and restauranteur Derrick Hayes! According to PEOPLE, the two were recently married in Atlanta, Georgia, during a lavish ceremony on Saturday, June 10.

Pinky Cole Calls The Wedding To Derrick Hayes A “Dream Come True”
According to the outlet, the ceremony occurred at the St. Regis on Saturday. Cole reflected on the ceremony with the outlet, calling it a “fairytale.”
“It’s a fairytale, a Cinderella wedding. Just the other day, my mother saw me in my dress for the first time, and I never thought I would see myself in a wedding dress…”
Additionally, Cole shared that the moment, for her, is a “dream come true.” She added that she is “breaking generational patterns” for her family.
“It’s a dream come true because I’m doing something that no one in my family has ever done. To be the first to have a wedding is a big deal. I’m breaking generational patterns and creating a new one.”
Hayes Also Shared His Thoughts On The Marital Union
Hayes also spoke with the outlet ahead of the ceremony. During his interview, he explained that becoming a husband is “everything” to him.
“Becoming husband and wife means everything to me because I can finally share myself with someone and become a union…”
Additionally, Hayes shared how the union will also positively impact their children. According to PEOPLE, the couple shares a 1-year-old daughter and 11-month-old son. Hayes is also the father to two additional daughters, ages 7 and 9.
“I’m looking forward to it because it allows me to raise my kids in an environment I want to see them in. I believe everyone wants to be happy, and I’m seeing that true happiness come into my life.”

According to the outlet, the ceremony started with a worship melody from Tasha Cobb Leonard. After the wedding party made their way down the aisle, Cole appeared wearing the first custom Milano Di Rouge gown in the color mauve.
The gown reportedly featured a “deep-V sweetheart neckline” and a “beaded mesh skirt” adorned with “hand-sewn crystal rhinestones.”
Hayes donned a custom Miguel Wilson tuxedo.
Cole and Hayes then exchanged vows in an audience of 300 guests before donning a wardrobe change and enjoying the rest of their magical evening.
Furthermore, Hayes shared an additional quote with the outlet, echoing Cole’s statement about the wedding being a “dream come true.”
“This wedding is a dream come true. It will be a day of love for so many. It will connect people who may have had hardship in their own relationships, friendships, and family and will bring everyone together.”
