<p>Cori Broadus, daughter of one of the greatest rappers to come out of the West Coast <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/pass-the-benjamins-snoop-dogg-charges-half-a-ticket-for-a-verse-and-music-video-appearance-combo/">Snoop Dogg</a>, took to Instagram with a message for folks criticizing her relationship! Cori and her creative director bae Wayne have been dating for a lil&#8217; minute now, but some people aren&#8217;t convinced he has the purest intentions.</p>
<p>In a few posts on her IG story, Cori responded to folks online who believe that Wayne is only dating the pop singer because of who her dad is.</p>

<p>Cori&#8217;s posts prompted a social media conversation about the impact that colorism has on the black community. Twitter users came to Broadus&#8217; defense, attributing the statements about her relationship and her physical appearance to the idea that darker skinned people are less attractive.</p>
