<p>We all know that we are currently living in an era where remakes are the trend, and Disney has been on a roll when it comes to taking some of our childhood favorites and transforming them into live-action films.</p>
<p>Now it looks like Hercules is the next Disney classic to get the live-action treatment, as the project is reportedly in the development stages. With this news floating around, you know fans are already casting their votes on who they believe should portray certain roles. However, the biggest debate is who should play the Muses.</p>
<p>Fans are throwing out all kinds of suggestions when it comes to getting the Muses right. They are interested in seeing Amber Riley, Jennifer Hudson, Jazmine Sullivan, Beyoncé, Janelle Monae, and even the Braxton sisters considered for the remake.</p>
<p><em><a href="https://thedisinsider.com/2020/04/29/exclusive-disney-developing-live-action-hercules-film-with-some-possible-big-name-directors-in-the-mix/">The DisInsider</a></em> reported about the remake and claims that film is expected to be a theatrical release, not a remake for Disney&#8217;s streaming service, <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/disney-hits-10-million-sign-ups-since-its-launch/">Disney+</a></em>. This live-action remake will reportedly feature songs from the 1997 animated film, and likely new songs as well.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/hercules-live-action-remake-works-disney-shang-chi-writer-1292684">The Hollywood Reporter</a></em>, although the remake is still in the early development stages, Joe and Anthony Russo, who directed the last two &#8220;Avengers&#8221; films, are set to produce under their AGBO banner.</p>
<p>Although they have not gotten to the casting stage of the process, one thing is adamant, fans are hoping that Disney gets it right when it comes to the Muses.</p>
