<p style="font-weight: 400;">Roommates, the initial reactions are in for Future’s brand new album ‘I Never Liked You’ and social media didn’t hold back with the opinions! After weeks of teasing and anticipation, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/future-opens-up-about-new-music-best-rapper-alive-title-toxic-masculinity-more-in-new-gq-spread/">Future</a> finally pleased his fans with the release of his album—and although it’s been less than 24 hours since it dropped, social media is already lit up with first takes.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">When it was announced by Future earlier this year that he was in the studio working on <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/future-i-never-liked-you-first-impressions-album-review/best-feature">new music</a>, his fans went on high-alert with expectations about what he would cook up in the studio next. Fast forward to the present, and Future’s latest collection of musical toxicity has arrived just in time for the City Boys to get ready for summer.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Future was trending for several hours after the album dropped and while there were many fans who immediately loved what they heard, there were others who felt that the project was far from Future’s best work. Quotes by Twitter users ranged from “‘I Never Liked You’ by Future is already better than every album this year off first listen” to “That Future album sound like every other Future album, but worse.”</p>
