<p>The year is quickly coming to an end, which means that the Soul Train Awards is right around the corner.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, the nominations for this year&#8217;s award show was announced, and Solange and Bruno Mars earned themselves the most nominations.</p>
<p>Solange is still riding high off of the success of her last project, “A Seat At The Table,” earning her a total of seven nominations. She will be competing in categories such as Best R&;B/ Soul Female Artist, Video of the Year and Song of the Year.</p>
<p>Bruno Mars is following behind her with a total of six nominations after the success of his latest album “24K Magic.” Some of the categories he has been nominated for include Best R&;B/Soul Male Artist, Video of the Year and Album/ Mixtape of the Year.</p>
<p>Toni Braxton will be honored with the Don Cornelius Legend Award, and SWV will be receiving the Lady of Soul Award. All ladies will be recognized for their long-standing careers and influence within music.</p>
