<p>Solange Reminds Us That We Have To Make Life Worthwhile</p>

<p>The ever so effortless naturalista, Solange Knowles, has been one to<br />
keep her private life, well you know, private. But today, as Solange<br />
celebrates her 30th birthday. The singer opens up on an Instagram<br />
caption on some private, but probably the most heart warming moments<br />
that she has experienced in her life.</p>
<p>With death comes life. At the tender age of 17, Solange types about<br />
how she experienced so much within only a year. She says, &#8220;Lost my<br />
best friend Marsai, to gun violence&#8221;, then &#8220;Pregnant&#8221;, then &#8220;Married<br />
first love&#8221; and after 3 years, she was divorced.</p>
<p>But even with heartache and the gift of life, Solange pushed through.<br />
At the age of 24, Solange wrote about how she had severe panic attacks<br />
and also a case of agoraphobia which was when she was convinced that<br />
she would be dead by 30.</p>
<p>Funny thing is&#8230;that &#8220;severe&#8221; disease didn&#8217;t stop her! Solange later<br />
went on to create her own masterpiece. She got remarried at 28, she<br />
started her own &#8220;record label/cultural hub&#8221; that has set a standard<br />
and also an outlet for a lot of on the rise Indie artists and<br />
musicians, she has released an album on her record label, and she made<br />
it to 30 and she isn&#8217;t dead.</p>
<p>Solange lets us in on a little secret that you might have missed.<br />
Whatever life may through at us, it&#8217;s our choice to either stay down<br />
or make the most of it. She types, &#8220;I say all of that to say&#8230;don&#8217;t<br />
eveeer let anyone write your story for you. They can talk, they can<br />
doubt, and they can say what they wanna, but only you have the words<br />
to narrate this ting we call life&#8230;&#8221;</p>
