The Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion incident happened in July but we still no very little details about the situation. Outside of Megan confirming that Tory shot her and alleged text messages of Tory admitting it, we haven’t heard anything from him at all. One of his fans felt some type of way about his silence.
Posting photos of Lanez, a fan stated in the comments, “I’ve always followed Tory. That doesn’t negate anything I’m saying. A[n] unarmed Black woman was harmed with a deadly weapon by a man that she felt comfortable around,” the fan wrote. “That’s not a good thing. Us Tory fans deserve some sort of acknowledgement of the situation from him. You don’t agree?”
Someone with the IG handle “midjordan” responded and stated, “And you’ll get it when it’s time just because she came out and said some bulls-t people are supposed to believe it?”
After the fan responded, in part, “His silence is disheartening to say the least.” Midjordan replied, “Which I understand[,] but in this specific situation I’m gonna say it’s the best decision to do. Which the other side knows. is silence drives them to try and diminish his character. When it’s his turn the world will see why.”
As previously reported, Lanez allegedly sent Meg a text on the night of July 12th, some hours after Tory allegedly shot Megan in her feet. The text reportedly is a plea for forgiveness on his end, although it is not specified whether or not he got a response.
“I know you prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “I was just too drunk.”
Tory reportedly never references the gun he had in the car, or explicitly admits to shooting Megan, but it is clear that he regrets whatever went down.
“None the less sh*t should have never happened and I can’t change what I did. I just feel horrible. Cuz I genuinely just got too drunk.”
