It’s okay to get lit every now and then, but you should never try to light up on an airplane! Unfortunately one Southwest Airlines passenger learned that the hard way when he decided to spark up in the bathroom.
According to The Root, the plane ended up making an emergency landing at Mineta San Jose International Airport after several passengers complained about the heavy smell of marijuana.
Y’all know it’s a smell that lingers so it didn’t take long for the flight attendants to locate the culprit and turn him over to authorities.
“It looked like that someone needed to smoke a joint on a plane, and he went into the bathroom, smoked his blunt and set off the fire alarm,” passenger Jonathan Burkes said.
Y’all know the penalty for smoking on airplane is a pretty hefty fine! Hopefully the passenger thinks twice before doing this again.
