<p>It looks like when it comes to actress Stacey Dash, her days in the political field have come to an end. In a recent interview with <em><a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9342409/Stacey-Dash-apologizes-offensive-comments-turns-Donald-Trump-quits-politics.html">Daily Mail TV</a></em>, Stacey discussed her past as a Fox political commentator, her comments that have rubbed people the wrong way, and the effects of her support for Donald Trump, and where she stands when it comes to the current administration.</p>
<p>During the interview, Stacey talked about her time working for <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/fox-news-hands-stacey-dash-her-first-l-of-2017fired/">Fox News</a></em>, and made it clear that who she was then, is not who she is now. She said, &#8220;I&#8217;ve lived my life being angry, which is what I was on Fox News. I was the angry, conservative, Black woman. And at that time in my life, it was who I was.&#8221;</p>
<p>She continued to say,&#8221; There are things that I am sorry for. Things that I did say, that I should not have said them the way I said them. They were very arrogant and prideful and angry.&#8221; With who she is today, Stacey says that she would not work at Fox, nor at any other news network, or as a news contributor.</p>
<p>When it comes to her past support for the now-former president, Donald Trump, she says it put her in a box that she didn&#8217;t belong in.</p>
<p>&#8220;Being a supporter of Trump has put me in some kind of box that I don&#8217;t belong in,&#8221; she said. &#8220;But he&#8217;s not the president. I&#8217;m going to give the president that we have right now a chance.&#8221; She noted that the Capitol riots were the turning point for her.</p>
<p>She said, &#8220;When that happened I was like &#8216;Ok, I&#8217;m done. I&#8217;m truly done.&#8217; Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on January 6 was just appalling and stupid.&#8221;</p>

<p>As she steps away from her political past. Stacey is getting back into her acting bag as she is starring as a doctor in the new anti-abortion film &#8220;Roe v Wade,&#8221; which is based on the historical Supreme Court case.</p>
