<p>After winning his fourth NBA Championship, <strong><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/steph-curry-says-hes-good-right-now-in-response-to-possibly-playing-alongside-lebron-james/">Steph Curry</a></strong> is switching things up a bit and hopping into his hosting bag. He has officially been announced as the host for this year&#8217;s ESPY Awards.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/stephen-curry-host-espy-awards-1235173795/">The Hollywood Reporter</a></em>, Steph&#8217;s new hosting duties will actually be his first time hosting a major live TV event. Aside from leading the night, which celebrates athletes throughout various sports, Steph is also nominated for three awards. He is up for Best Athlete in Men&#8217;s Sports, Best NBA Player, and Best Record-Breaking Performance, which is for his most 3-pointers in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors are also nominated for Best Team.</p>
<p>Steph shared his excitement and said,</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I’ve had the pleasure of attending The ESPYS but never imagined I’d have the privilege of hosting this special event. As someone who loves the intersection of sports and entertainment, I look forward to delivering an exciting show for the fans while we celebrate the athletes who created the top moments of the year.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>Steph&#8217;s hosting gig is just one of the many highlights that have been happening this year.</p>
<p>As <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/stephen-curry-graduates-with-his-bachelor-of-arts-degree-in-sociology-from-davidson-college/">previously</a></em> reported, just last month, he earned his college degree from Davidson College 13 years after he entered the NBA. He was not able to attend his college graduation as he was preparing to compete in the Western Conference Finals. Eventually, his team the Golden State Warriors won the conference and competed against the Boston Celtics before winning the NBA Finals. Steph himself was also crowned Finals MVP.</p>
