<p><strong>Sukihana</strong> has chosen to forgive <strong>YK Osiris</strong> following his attempts to forcibly kiss her last weekend. The rapper <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/gunna-snitching-first-music-video-ysl-plea-deal/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">released a statement</a> early Friday (June 16) thanking supporters and explaining why she&#8217;s ready to move forward from the incident.</p>
<p>She started by saying the &#8220;thoughtfulness&#8221; of everyone who reached out &#8220;has not gone unnoticed.&#8221; Then, she revealed she and YK have spoken privately about the incident.</p>

<p>On Saturday (June 10), Sukihana and Osiris were both at an Atlanta event for The Crew League, an indoor basketball league. The <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/report-ja-morants-team-alleges-gun-in-second-viral-video-was-a-toy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">initial viral clip</a> shows Suki sitting at a table alongside Lil Duval and Funny Marco and YK standing behind her. YK was rubbing Suki&#8217;s shoulders before grabbing her by the chin and kissing her on the lips.</p>
<p>Despite Sukihana&#8217;s body language&#8211;squirming away, ducking, and shocked facial expressions&#8211;YK attempted to repeat the action. While smiling and laughing, YK walked away soon after.</p>

<p>The video made its social media rounds&#8211;prompting backlash related to sexual assault from fans and celebrities <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CtegisNuNtj/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">like <strong>Amber Rose</strong></a> and <strong>Masika Kalysha</strong>.</p>
<p>By June 14, The Shade Room obtained an exclusive video showing Sukihana and YK&#8217;s conversation moments before the kiss attempts. The clip shows what appears to be flirty comments from Suki and Osiris. She tells him, &#8220;I&#8217;m gon&#8217; turn yo a*s out.&#8221; He tells her to &#8220;holla at&#8221; him, planting a kiss on her cheek&#8211;that she seemed shocked by.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Sukihana Declares Her Right To Boundaries, Says She&#8217;s Ready To Move On</h3>
<p>Suki also addressed a stand-out argument amid the viral conversations about the kiss attempts. Critics largely pointed to Sukihana&#8217;s sex-positive persona, raunchy lyrics, and flirty conversation with YK as justifications for his forwardness. But, like her supporters, Sukihana rejected that notion.</p>

Again, I have accepted his apology and am working towards getting back to my life. I am giving YK the grace and forgiveness that I wanted to be given to me as I was discovering and defining myself on this very public and sometimes unforgiving entertainment platform.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The rapper shared the statement on her Instagram account. In the caption, she added:</p>

<p>As Suki mentioned, YK Osiris apologized to her publicly in a statement on Thursday (June 15). He acknowledged the importance of consent, took &#8220;full responsibility&#8221; for his actions, and revealed his &#8220;utmost admiration&#8221; for Sukihana.</p>
