Whew chile, Summer Walker has found herself in yet another situation regarding her lack of performance. In the last few weeks, she has been plagued with reports of not showing up to perform, not performing to full capacity and cancelling shows. Well, she just added another issue to her list, as fans at her recent nightclub appearance booed her because they assumed she was performingand she addressed exactly what happened.
Summer Walker recently appeared at local New Jersey nightclub XL Nightlife for the official afterparty to one of her concerts, and according to promoters for the event, she was set to host the party for an hour and also perform three songs. While she did her job of hosting, fans became outraged when she didnt perform as advertised and started booing her.
In exclusive video of the event posted by the promoter, Summer can be seen holding the microphone, but barely singing along to her song that was playing. Fans quickly started booing while at the club and later bashed her on social media.
This caused Summer to respond on her Instagram stories with the following message for her upset fans:
Aye look, yall gotta stop letting these promoters finesse yall. I DO NOT, I REPEAT, I DO NOT sing on couches. Put some respect on my name if you would like to see me perform Ill be at Terminal 5 on the 7th & 8th & Jimmy Fallon on the 9th, thats where you can see me perform. Thank yall for whoever came to see me at the Jersey WALK THROUGH, I appreciate it.
She went off on the promoter again with this:
Ni**as posting fake contracts your getting sued. sh**s dead gross of you, now u b**chin on live all for some clout. Sh**s really a hell of a drug. Ive done over 10 walk throughs this year and did exactly that, walked through. No issues.
In response to Summers posts, the promoter of the event posted and then deleted the alleged contract that outlined what Summer was expected to do during the appearance, which included performing.
However, he did leave this message to her up:
If this is a fake deal why grab the mic and do this? Keeping it ????She got bood and tried to blame me that I didnt book her for a show. We all know she wasnt booked for a show. (As to why my date wasnt on her tour list) If you know the business you know its a difference between a show and a hosting with songs. To people that dont know the business educate yourself before you formulate an opinion on whats going on. But I appreciate everyone who came out and my apologies to anyone who didnt feel satisfied with the event, definitely not my fault but I appreciate yall.
After all the drama, some fans were reportedly asking for a refund.
