SZA To Be Honored At Billboard’s Women In Music Event With The Rule Breaker Award

SZA was named as one of the latest honorees for Billboards upcoming Women in Music event.

On Monday, Billboard announced that the songstress would be honored with the Rule Breaker Award, which recognizes female artists who use their music and platform to defy traditional industry expectations and advance a powerful message for young people.

Billboard continued to say, SZA has consistently upended the expectations of a modern R&B star while scoring Grammy nominations, multi-platinum hits from herCtrlalbum and a prime slot on Top Dawg Entertainments best-selling Championship Tour.

Other honorees announced for Billboards 13^th annual event include Kacey Musgraves and Haley Kiyoko.

As we previously reported, Janelle Mone will be honored with the Trailblazer Award and Ariana Grande will be honored with the Woman of the Year Award.

Billboards 13^th Annual Women in Music takes place on December 6^th in New York City.
