<p>Actress Taraji P. Henson continues to win when it comes to booking these roles.</p>
<p>Recently, her new film &#8220;Hidden Figures,&#8221; took the number one spot at the box office during it’s premiere weekend, and now she has a another role under her belt.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="http://variety.com/2017/film/news/taraji-p-henson-hit-woman-proud-mary-1201958331/">Variety</a></em>, Henson has just signed on to play a hit woman in a new film entitled, “Proud Mary.” Both John Stewart Newman and Christian Swegal penned the films script, and Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan will serve as producers for the project.</p>
<p>Henson will play the role of a hit woman, “whose life is upturned when she meets a young boy who awakens the maternal instinct she never knew she had.”</p>
<p>There is currently no director connected to the film, but the production team is looking to have things up and running by April.</p>
<p>In the meantime, Henson will return to the set of her Fox hit series, “Empire,” as they were recently renewed for a fourth season.</p>
