<p>magine how different Scandal would have been if Taraji P. Henson was Olivia Pope! In a recent interview Taraji spilled some tea that she was up against Kerry Washington for the role.</p>
<p>According to The Jasmine Brand, Taraji is happy that the role went Kerry.</p>
<p>“I auditioned for Shonda Rhimes for ‘Scandal’. Thank God, Kerry [Washington] got it. It was her job. I think that was the last time I auditioned.”</p>
<p>She continued,</p>
<p>“I’m not that actress that wants to do everything. When I got it [the script], I was like ‘This is Kerry Washington’. That was her blessing.”</p>
