<p>#EmmettTill, who was gruesomely murdered at age 14 and provided a catalyst for the civil rights movement, is finally getting his moment on the big screen thanks to #TarajiPHenson. She will be producing and starting in a film about the young boy&#8217;s precious life.</p>
<p>The actress tells @GlobalGrind, &#8220;We don’t have a start date yet, but the deal definitely has been done. That’s one [film] that I’ve been passionate about since Trayvon Martin was murdered.” At the moment, the film is titled The Emmett Till Story and Henson will play the slain child&#8217;s mother Mamie Till-Mobley.</p>
<p>John Singleton will be directing this film so you know it&#8217;s going to be done justice! We need to celebrate our civil rights heroes more especially with the way inequality is STILL set up! SMH!</p>
