<p>Did y&#8217;all hear about that taxi cab driver in NYC who snubbed Al Roker and his son last weekend because they were black? Al Roker took to Twitter to let the world know he filed a complaint against the taxi cab driver and went ahead and described him as &#8216;racist&#8217; and &#8216;ignorant&#8217;.</p>

<p>Well in an interview with New York Daily News, the Bangladesh taxi cab driver has decided to speak out against the incident. &#8220;It&#8217;s a misunderstanding. Maybe he saw me and I didn&#8217;t see him. How I refuse him? Anybody would pick him. He looks like a gentleman. That&#8217;s our business.&#8221;, Mahabur Rahman claims.</p>
<p>But before you take his apology into consideration, listen to this! This isn&#8217;t the first time this cab driver has made a complaint made against him. According to The Root, Rahman had a $200 fine back in May, but since this is his second offense he has to pay a $1,350 and if found guilty, a 30-day suspension of his license.</p>
<p>Also, if this case goes to trial, Rahman is facing up to $150 to $350 for “taking action against public interest.” Rahman has been a taxi driver since July 2014.</p>
