<p>The only eyewitness present during <strong>Jonathan Majors&#8217;</strong> alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend, <strong>Grace Jabbari</strong>, has shared their testimony in court. As<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/meagan-good-trends-texts-jonathan-majors-trial-physical-altercation-grace-jabbari/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the 34-year-old actor was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment after the alleged incident in March.</p>
<p>Since then, Majors has filed a cross-complaint accusing Jabbari of unreported domestic abuse.</p>
<p>Additionally, the actor&#8217;s trial kicked off in Manhattan on Monday, December 4.</p>

<p>As <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/say-what-jonathan-majors-ex-grace-jabbari-alleges-the-actor-demanded-her-to-behave-like-coretta-scott-king-michelle-obama/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the former couple&#8217;s domestic abuse trial was prompted by the actor allegedly attacking Jabbari in a taxi after they left dinner one evening in March.</p>
<p>Jabbari testified that she saw a text on Majors&#8217;s phone that read, &#8220;I wish I was kissing you right now.&#8221; Then, when they entered their car, she grabbed the phone from him before feeling his &#8220;weight&#8221; on top of her.</p>
<p>The actor allegedly struck &#8220;a really hard blow&#8221; to Jabbari&#8217;s head.</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://people.com/jonathan-majors-s-driver-says-accuser-was-doing-everything-during-alleged-attack-8414367" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>, Naveed Sarwar, the former couple&#8217;s taxi driver, took the stand on Monday, December 11. Speaking with a translator, Sarwar alleged that Majors &#8220;was not doing anything.&#8221;</p>
<p>Instead, Sarwar added that Jabbari &#8220;was doing everything.&#8221;</p>

<p>Prosecutors urged the Sarwar to &#8220;only testify&#8221; what happened, &#8220;not what you think happened.” However, as he continued, Sarwar alleged that Majors was &#8220;trying to get rid&#8221; of Jabbari by exiting the taxi.</p>
<p>Then, prosecutors reportedly reminded Sarwar to keep his &#8220;opinions&#8221; to himself.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://people.com/jonathan-majors-s-driver-says-accuser-was-doing-everything-during-alleged-attack-8414367" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a>, Sarwar&#8217;s testimony contrasted his previous statement alleging Majors threw Jabbari around the taxi &#8220;like a football.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/12/11/jonathan-majors-trial-driver-claims-grace-jabbari-hit-actor/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ</a> reports that Sarwar also testified that he did not find blood in his taxi car following the incident.</p>

<p>During opening arguments, prosecutors explained that his former romance with Jabbari blossomed &#8220;fast.&#8221; The pair reportedly met on a movie set and swooned one another with love letters and poetry.</p>
<p>Jabbari alleged that Majors told her he loved her &#8220;early on,&#8221; and although it felt &#8220;overwhelming,&#8221; she felt &#8220;cared for&#8221; and &#8220;seen.&#8221;</p>
<p>However, prosecutors alleged that within a few months, the &#8220;defendant&#8217;s true self began to emerge.&#8221; Jabbari was ultimately met by a man prone to &#8220;rage and aggression.&#8221;</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Jonathan Majors&#8217; Demands &; Texts Exchanged With Grace Jabbari</h3>
<p>Jabbari&#8217;s testimony began the following day, and prosecutors played recordings of heated exchanges between the former couple. One recording, reportedly taken in September 2022, showed Majors referring to himself as a &#8220;great man&#8221; as he ordered Jabbari to behave like Coretta Scott King or Michelle Obama.</p>

<p>Then, on December 8, text messages surfaced from that same period where the pair seemed to discuss a head injury suffered by Jabbari.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital,&#8221; Majors reportedly texted to Jabbari. &#8220;They will ask you questions, and as I don’t think you actually protect us, it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Jabbari responded by telling Majors that she&#8217;d only inform the doctor that she &#8220;bumped her head.&#8221; Additionally, she informed Majors that she needed to acquire &#8220;stronger&#8221; painkillers.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I will tell the doctor I bumped my head,&#8221; Jabbari said, reading the text message to jurors before succumbing to her tears. Assistant District Attorney Kelli Galaway continued, &#8220;I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and I need some stronger painkillers. That’s all: why would I tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you?&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>As the exchange continued, Majors explained that he &#8220;considered&#8221; committing suicide before Jabbari affirmed that she would not go to see a doctor.</p>
<blockquote><p>“I will not go to the doctor if you don’t feel safe with me doing so, or don’t trust me to. I promise you I would never mention you but understand your fear,” Jabbari responded.</p></blockquote>
<p>Majors reportedly kept his head down as the texts were read in court. After they were completed, he briefly glanced at the jurors.</p>
