<p>With the recent flooding that has occurred in Louisiana, many celebrities have been using their voice to get help for those who have lost nearly everything.</p>
<p>One celebrity who is using her voice and her own money to bring relief to those who were affected by the flooding is none other than Taylor Swift.</p>
<p>According to the Associated Press, the “Shake It Off” singer is donating $1 million to help out those in Louisiana who have been tragically affected.</p>
<p>She said in a statement, “We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking.”</p>
<p>She continued, “I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time.&#8221;</p>
<p>Since late last week a total of 11 lives have been claimed due to the flooding, and thousands of homes have been damaged.</p>
