Tekashi 6ix9ine Officially Sued By Victims In His 2018 Robbery Case

#Roommates, just when you thought the legal issues for Tekashi 6ix9ine were completely over, new troubles have emerged in the form of a lawsuit. The victims of an April 2018 robbery in which Tekashi 6ix9ine previously admitted to being involved in, are officially suing him for damages.

@TMZ_TV reports Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier, the victims in a 2018 robbery involving Tekashi 6ix9ine, have just filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he was part of the criminal conspiracy set in motion that led to them being robbed at gunpoint in New York City. You’ll recall that Tekashi testified and pleaded guilty to the incident in federal court. In official court documents, Wonzer and Dozier say they lost a fortune during the robbery—including shoes, master recordings, hard drives, precious jewelry, a camera and cash, among other items.

Their lawsuit further states that the robbery was a case of mistaken identity, as Tekashi and the others involved thought Wonzer and Dozier were affiliated with Rap-A-Lot Records, but they say they weren’t. The lawsuit also says that while although Tekashi didn’t do the robbing himself, he did record the entire incident from an SUV that was waiting outside—as his cohorts from the Nine Trey Bloods did all the dirty work.

Wonzer and Dozier want Tekashi to pay up for assault, battery and emotional distress they say they suffered. Additionally, because he admitted to the crime already in court, they feel there is no question for his civil liability for the damages.

Meanwhile, Wonzer and Dozier spoke about the lawsuit through their attorney, who said, “If Tekashi 6ix9ine thought his legal problems were over after pleading guilty to brutally assaulting my clients, he was woefully mistaken. We do know this now, if he refuses to redress the injuries he caused my clients, he’ll sincerely regret that decision.”

Tekashi’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, responded saying, “We will defend this lawsuit vigorously.”
